CAM Puma unboxed
When I had bought CAM Gargoyle and Vampire, there was a CAM Puma as well. It’s a boy, so I had to go back and get it too once I had the money. =D But I was so disappointed.
Missing so many parts. =(
I thought the pack was just missing a torso, but it’s missing upper arms and upper thighs as well. I was pretty flabbergasted. O_o I mean, seriously? *_* What do I do with such an incomplete doll? And because he’s never been part of a complete CAM set, Mattel doesn’t sell the missing parts at all! =(
But that tail sure is cute! XD The ears are cute (pointy like the vampire’s), and the hands are clawed like the gargoyle’s.

The sculpt of the head itself is nothing special. I am not excited over any feature. The face details aren’t too bad, but not very endearing to me. I’m definitely giving him a new faceup when I can. =)
The quality of the makeup is shoddy compared to the Vampire+Gargoyle pack. The side of the white markings on Puma’s face is fadey and eyebrows slightly smudged at the ends.

I find it strange that the puma has ears and does not have the extra cat ear clips like the CAM werewolf. And it’s also strange that the werewolves do not have tails like the werecats do. *laughs* I keep calling the wolves cats because of the shape of their ears. =D I guess a thin cat’s tail is easier to design than a bushy wolves. XD
The missing limbs of this set makes it feel like a rip-off, considering that it cost me half the price of the Vampire Gargoyle set that made up two complete males. =( It doesn’t come with a stand, though it has a wig and a full outfit complete with shoes. The wig is pretty boring, and the haircut is pretty bad.
I’ve been looking around to source torsos and upper limbs for him, but recasts are either not perfect or have colours that don’t match. And they are just too expensive! =( Buying a torso sets me back the price of a simple doll or more! And buying the upper limbs would cost as much. -_-
This guy has a character set out for him already, so it’d be nice if I could complete him. But I’d rather buy clothes and accessories than have to buy a torso and upper limbs that I will have to paint to match. I do not have the paint resources, nor does the cost seem justifiable. >_<
