It’s hard to put an age on Howleen. I keep thinking she’s only 10-12. But she’s so overly made up. The official pictures say she’s 14, but her height doesn’t seem quite right. *laughs* At least it explains why her boobs are so big for such a tiny girl. Haha.
Her original hair is really cute. I wish I had taken a better pic of it before I had washed it out! And her outfit is really adorable! It’s also very fruits-style: full of colours. I like her shorts, -but- she can’t sit in them. =( The sister pack doesn’t come with -any- stands, and since her clothes can’t make her sit, the lack of a stand is a very sore point. =(
Her boots were also really hard to take off. The plastic it was made of was harder than expected. =( I keep thinking I’d rip her foot off or something when I was removing her shoes. But they’re hard enough you can stand her on her feet–if her hair doesn’t tip her over. =D
Getting a shampoo!
I bought this Howleen because I saw a really cute one on flickr. Can’t remember whose it was, but the person just washed out her hair and I totally loved it. I didn’t want to reroot and I totally adore the orange hair so I had to chase down my own, even though there were cheaper Howleens.
Thank goodness the greasy-glue-oozing-out-of-the-head issue isn’t too bad on Howleen. I can feel the hair is greasy near the scalp, but it’s so slight I can dismiss it as my imagination. Otherwise, I’ll be totally heartbroken if I have to reroot her as I’ll want the original colour and style! *laughs*

Despite the Barbie-makeup, I totally love her. *_* She’s sooo cute. So so so cute. The makeup doesn’t suit the character I have planned, and because I adore her as she is so much and can’t bear to change her, I will use some pics for a short story for the intended character, Mink, and will customise another Howleen for Mink. =D
I was worried about finding clothes for her since she’s so tiny, but it’s a good thing that she can wear the normal MH-sized clothes without them looking oversized. =D

The pet included is okay, though I’m not too keen on its eyelashes or colour scheme.

Howleen was very well designed. From her hair to the outfit. She gave the impression of a really fun-loving kid. Now, I only have to keep trying to believe she’s 14 instead of 10-trying-to-be-adult. *laughs*
